Ivonne is a true talent and professional. I had my eyebrows nanobladded and I am SO pleased. Ivonne provides after care treatment and guidance to increase healing time. I was interested in microblading for years, but I hesitated as I felt it was too harsh for my skin. I am so glad I waited for nanoblading which is more precise and natural looking and for finding Ivonne. She is also so lovely and has cultivated a warm and inviting atmosphere. BEST DECISION EVER!! I did a thorough research on permanent make up salons in Ottawa. Ivonne's website detailed the differences between nanobrows and microblading, and which procedure is best suited for your skin type. I booked a virtual consult and discussed with Ivonne my concerns and what I was hoping to achieve. She was very helpful in providing information and images depicting how it would most likely look like on me should I decide to move forward with nanobrows. Ivonne wants to work with you and will not push you to avail of a service for profit. She's genuine and authentic in wanting you to get quality service, and the type of service that is best suited for you. I appreciate Ivonne's patience in answering my questions, and reception to feedback. I've had multiple services done in her salon - nanobrows, electrolysis, and skin care. Employees in the salon provide exceptional customer service, make you feel at ease and satisfied with the service/procedure. I am absolutely happy and won't ever go anywhere else. :)

I researched where to go for microblading/nanobrows for about a year. Time and time again, people pointed me to Ivonne. I am so glad I chose her for my brows. She did a thorough virtual consult with me, fully explained her plan for my brows and clearly explained why and how she would achieve what I wanted and what she thought would work best on my skin/face. The booking process was quick and easy. Ivonne's shop is very carefully following covid safety procedures. For the service itself, I was pleased with how much time and care Ivonne took to map out my brows, being sure to check in with me as she sketched out where and how she would be doing my nanobrows. I was surprised that the technique she uses is pain-free. She offered me some numbing cream for the second pass of the brow, and I used it, but really didn't need to. I have a very low pain tolerance, and I can say this did not hurt. For my follow-up appointment, she took the same care to ensure the service was performed perfectly. Ivonne is extremely talented. She is also kind, clear, and works hard to give clients what they want, and or explains fully what she recommends. I am absolutely thrilled with my brows. I felt supported by her the whole way, not to mention she did a fantastic job. I've since gotten back in touch with her, and she recommended some great skincare products for me. Thank you, Ivonne!

I'm obsessed with my nano brows by Ivonne. My natural brows have always been thin and sparse, so every day I fill them in and try to make them match (they're sparse in different places, UGH). I'd been too nervous to try microblading and had never heard of nano til a friend tried it at Ivonne Sanchez. I was impressed with her results and her healing process seemed faster/easier. I was still nervous but booked in with Ivonne. She's so warm, welcoming, and capable that she immediately put me at ease. I told her I was looking for dark, structured brows but didn't want "Instagram brows". She knew what I meant and sketched on my brows with an eye pencil so I could get a sense of what my nano brows would look like. She created exactly what I wanted so I went ahead with it! It didn't hurt, the healing process was easy (less flaking than I expected), and I'm thrilled with my final, healed results. It's such a treat not having to do anything to my brows in the morning, and I love that I can exercise or go swimming without wondering if my previously drawn-on brows are running down my face. With my sensitive skin and fear of commitments, I was more than nervous about getting nano brows. Ivonne was so great to work with: she explained the whole process to me in depth, I was able to see the mapped out shape of my brows before we went forward, she helped pick the best colour and shaped based off my existing brows, and I felt so confident in what we were doing before we got started.

Ivonne also has the BEST numbing product in the game. Everyone kept telling me microblading and nano brows was super painful, but I barely felt a thing because she used such a high quality numbing agent! Seriously, it was the easiest beauty process I’ve ever done.

The whole experience was more than I could have asked for. Ivonne’s salon is so beautiful and the way it’s set up makes it feel like you’re having a girls’ day with a bunch of new friends! It was fun chatting with the other women in the salon, both staff and customers. It definitely has a great atmosphere and puts you at ease!

It’s been two months since my first nano brow appointment, and I am seriously in love with my brows. I can’t stop telling everyone I know to get them done - nano is the way to go! Especially as someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup and workouts a lot, I don’t ever have to worry about them. I don’t have to fill them in, I can pull off wearing less makeup overall because of them, and most importantly, they are perfectly fine even with the amount I sweat!

If you’re going to invest in brows, go for nano brows and DEFINITELY go to IVONNE! I know I’ll be back for more services!

I met Ivonne a year ago after doing a google search for microblading artists! I made an appointment with Ivonne and was more than impressed. She is extremely kind, caring, dedicated to pleasing you and very knowledgeable and skilled in her field. Since that first initial appointment, where I decided to also do permanent eyeliner and a natural lip contour and shading, I have been back to see her several times for more services. She has expanded her skills and knowledge into skin cell therapy and more. She is extremely hard working and dedicated to her clients. I am so happy I was so fortunate to meet her and will continue to go to her for any touch ups or something new I may one day try! She has definitely grown and continues to grow and now has this lovely salon which now includes almost all beauty services such as lash extensions and a nail bar. All of her staff are kind and very skilled!

I waited until my touchup to review Ivonne's microblading services. She is AMAZING. I did my research before I finally settled on her, and I'm so glad I did. Her attention to making you feel comfortable, getting you the right shape you want, answering your questions are stellar. She also is very passionate and committed to her art, and it shows. You need to have full trust in your microblading artist, and I can say that you can go in, knowing that she will provide you with the best possible results for you.

Ivonne is wonderful! I had nano brows (microblading and machine shading) done by Ivonne and I love my new eyebrows! Thank you Ivonne! :) Ivonne was professional, attentive and made sure I was comfortable for the entire procedure as well as my touch-up a few weeks later. Her work speaks for itself - I chose her for a reason. I don't think there is anyone in Ottawa who is as skilled as she is at microblading. She also has a large selection of colours that she can mix to get the exact shade that you want. My standards are pretty high but she exceeded my expectations. My eyebrows are as good as I was hoping--full again like they used to be, the arches are finally symmetrical, but most importantly they still look natural!

My simple lash enhancing eyeliner is way more impactful than I expected--my brown eyes don't look so plain, my lashes look thicker without mascara, and most importantly it doesn't look like I have thick eyeliner drawn on.

I was always an "au-naturel" girl most often bare-faced, but my everyday natural look just got an upgrade! I had been wanting to get my eyebrows done for a long time as they had thinned out over the past couple years, but had never pulled the trigger because of the "permanent" aspect and when I reviewed others social media, websites, and portfolios I found a lot of hit-and-miss inconsistency that made me nervous.

After seeing Ivonne recommended in a Facebook group, I followed her on Instagram, and messaged her on Facebook. When my questions and concerns were answered and after seeing a continuous stream of consistently impressive (and natural looking) results, I eventually booked my microblading appointment (scheduling it in a period of time I knew I could afford to take time off from my fitness). I then added eyeliner to my appointment as well!

The appointment was awesome. The aesthetic of Ivonne's place is lovely, and she is professional but so warm and easy to talk to, which is especially good if you are booked for back-to-back procedures and will be spending some length of time together like I was. She clearly is passionate and educated about what she is doing.

I specifically appreciated that she didn't seem rushed, and went through step by step what she was doing, and made sure I was involved the entire time--mapping out the shape of my eyebrows, deciding on colour, etc. There was no pain as part of the procedure for eyebrows or eyeliner... I was comfortable and relaxed for the full hours, and even almost fell asleep during the microblading haha!

As of day one I am very happy with my results.

Edit: UPDATE AFTER 10 DAYS below... I didn't have any issues with the eyebrow healing process--I just followed the instructions for microblading after care as is. My eyebrows looked very "drawn in" heavy for the first few days, they didn't really start flaking until the fourth day for me, but the healing process happened just like ivonne said and ten days later they look great. I didn't have any issues with the eyeliner healing process--I just followed the instructions for permanent makeup after care as is. My eyelids were the eyeliner was swollen for the first few days as expected--you really couldn't notice it, it just meant the little bit of swelling covered the eyeliner from showing really. The swelling went down after the first few days, and all continued normal. Both the eyebrows and eyeliner look natural but enhances my look enough to make me more confident. There is one tiny patch in my left eyebrow that looks "empty" and the part of the liner line towards my left inner eye didn't hold... to be clear, both these aren't noticeable from afar, just close up. So I look forward to our free scheduled touch-up appointment so Ivonne can touch-up her good work and make it perfect.

Edit: FINAL RESULTS--three weeks after my touch-up appointment (10 weeks after first appointment) below... I am over the moon happy with my results! I went back for my touch-up appointment. There was one area of one eyebrow I felt needed to be filled in, and I wanted the eyeliner thickened up a bit. Ivonne worked her magic and they were absolutely perfect. I am impressed with the whole experience with Ivonne, and will certainly recommend her.

A friend recommended me to Ivonne, and after browsing her site & Instagram, I decided to book an appointment. At my appointment, Ivonne carefully measured and drew out the ideal shape for my face and taking into account my existing brow shape. Start to finish the process was very easy, not painful at ALL, and the results are AMAZING. I can't believe how much well done brows can improve the look of your face. This was such an amazing experience. I had contemplated microblading for a long time but was really on the fence as I had no idea how the finished product would look on my face. Ivonne was so patient, talked me through everything she was doing, we even played it safe and went a little lighter and softer so that I wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. My brows are almost heeled and we will touch them up with a bit of darkness now that I know what to expect. I found Ivonne on Instagram and was instantly drawn to her work – it always looks so realistic and natural. Ivonne is professional, her workspace is beautiful and clean and hygiene/sanitation is immaculate. I was super nervous (generally an anxious person, and don't handle pain well) but Ivonne put me at ease. She was great about explaining all the steps she was taking, and helping me to get to the shape I really wanted. I would absolutely recommend her if you're considering microblading in the Ottawa area.

Who you choose to tattoo your face is not a decision that should be taken lightly!

I chose to go with Ivonne because after looking at a bunch of other microblading artists in the city, I thought she had the best attention to detail and an obvious eye for symmetry. She was very sweet when I got there, and she listened to what I wanted and all my concerns.

She customized the shape to suit my face and spotted things I had never even noticed, like that they were not the same length. She corrected the asymmetry and my brows are still mine...but better. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

I truly believe she creates the most natural-looking brows in Ottawa. I am so happy I did my research!

UPDATE: I decided to go to Ivonne again to get the "lip blush" procedure and WOW. Girls, this is a game-changer! It is the next day and it doesn't hurt, no flaking. I just have a really lovely blush 24/7, so I can just gloss and go. What I love is that there are no hard lines. It really is just a wash of soft colour. NOT the permanent makeup of the past. I HIGHLY recommend Ivonne for this procedure as well!

My only regret is that I didn't go see Ivonne sooner! She absolutely EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS and did a FANTASTIC job!! I am SO HAPPY! I had been thinking about microblading FOR YEARS but I hesitated again and again.

I was wearing eyebrow makeup every day (the gel type that is meant to stay put all day), but I still had to do daily touch-ups and they didn't look very natural. I finally decided to do microblading as a birthday gift to myself, and I saw so many great brows on Ivonne's Instagram page that I knew she would do a great job. It was ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!

From the moment I stepped into her studio I felt like I made the right decision. Ivonne took the time to walk me through the process, checking in at each step to make sure I was happy and comfortable. She explained everything she was doing and made sure I had my say on the shape, position and colour of my brows.

During the procedure she checked with me frequently to make sure I was comfortable and not in too much pain, and that I was happy with each step before going forward. Not only was she very professional and cognizant of my experience, she is VERY GOOD at application - her technique creates a super natural look and she is very light-handed (I didn't bleed at all). From beginning to end it was truly a positive experience, and I have already gotten many compliments!!

Bottom line: you WILL NOT REGRET booking with Ivonne.

Had an amazing experience with Ivonne. I'm the type of person who typically gets nervous just getting her eyebrows waxed because so often they will mess up my shape, but I wasn't nervous at all letting her do permanent makeup on my eyebrows. She walked me through every step of the process, let me see the shape she sketched for my brows and make adjustments if I wanted, and her equipment was all very modern and high-tech (the kind of stuff you would imagine the Kardashians had access to :p) if you're considering getting something as permanent as microblading done and are nervous about it, this is the girl you should go with!!

I can't describe how amazing my microblading experience with Ivonne was. I had a little bit of cold feet the day before, but as soon as I had expressed how worried I was, Ivonne completely put me at ease! Not only was she extremely professional, but she made sure I was aware of all the hygienic procedures she practices and that I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The eyebrow mapping took up the most time in the appointment, but only because Ivonne wanted to make sure that I was 100% happy with the shape and even went the extra mile to show me what the strokes would look like with a pencil beforehand. My eyebrows look phenomenal - they still have a very natural look but definitely surpassed any of my expectations! Seriously can't wait for my touch up appointment with her!

I had the absolute BEST experience with Ivonne, she was originally recommended by two friends of mine.

We originally did a virtual consultation in the summer and set up the appointment for November. Booking was super easy and I was sent a confirmation of appointment right away. As it got closer to the appointment time I was given instructions of how to care for my brows leading up to getting them done which was extremely helpful.

As for my appointment I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by both Ivonne and Dana who were so friendly and informative. Ivonne walked me through step by step what would be happing during the appointment starting with confirming the shape and colour. The process was easy I thought it would be painful but there was zero pain it was actually quite relaxing. Ivonne was great at keeping conversation throughout the proceedure and checking in to make sure I was comfortable.

I am SO happy with the outcome of my brows, I have been getting complements on them since getting them done which has been such a confidence boost as my lack of eyebrows has always been an insecurity of mine. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Dana walked me through the after care step by step and gave me some great samples to try to help with my oily yet sensitive skin. Dana followed up with an email to make sure I wouldn't forget anything. Which I really appreciate because I was so in love with my brows I think I retained like 10%. Overall I would recommend Ivonne to all my family and friends looking to have service done. I can't wait to return for my touch up and start some skin care routines to get mine to look as good as Ivonne and Dana's!!! Thank you again ladies!

I had made the decision to gift myself with eyebrows for my birthday. But for something so visibly prominent on my face and me - being Black - I wasn't going to turn that over to just anyone. I wanted to go not only to a professional, but someone who had experience with Black clients and their skin.

Ivonne is that person. When she and Dana welcomed me at the clinic, I felt at ease. It is spotless, the music is relaxing and the atmosphere is very zen. We had had a consultation a few months prior and again discussed in salon, after she looked at my skin, what was possible. She is very thorough with her placement and corrections and that attention to detail shows in her work and what noticed and was very impressed with in her portfolio prior to looking into her - she corrects other people's work and makes it look good. As for myself, I am over the moon with my own results. I have always done research on anything I purchase and I would always suggest people do theirs - especially something they are putting on their face permanently. But I think once you do, you will find that Ivonne is remarkable and a leader in her field!

I went in to get the nano brows done for the first time ever in March 2021. I wasn't sure what to expect but Ivonne really takes the time to explain the whole process with you and go over everything. She makes you feel really comfortable and takes as much time as needed. I've since gone back for a touch up appointment and I'm so happy with the results! My eyebrows look perfect 24/7 and I only have to go back for another touch up in a year and a half now.
