Terms and Conditions

Ivonne Sanchez ("Ivonne Sanchez Beauty") Terms and Conditions are outlined below.

Reservations

We aim to give all our clients full attention and the best quality service. Please book your appointment in advance so that we may secure preferred time for your treatment.

Online Booking

The web booking system allows convenient online scheduling. By proceeding to make a booking you agree to read both the pre and after care instructions AND read and complete the waiver.

Sensitivity test

A patch sensitivity test may be required for customers who have not had permanent make-up or lash extensions done before at least 24 hours prior to the treatment. Please also inform us if you had your permanent make-up done previously by another technician.

 

Deposit

If you decide to book a microblading, nano-brow, BB glow, microneedling or permanent make-up treatment you agree to pay a deposit of $114 in order to secure an appointment. The deposit may be transferred to another available date when you give at least 48hrs notice before the scheduled appointment. The deposit is accounted towards your treatment price. Deposits are non-refundable.

PMU or Camouflage Tattoo Touch up Appointment

The follow-up treatment should be booked between 30 and 90 days after the initial treatment. The availability of touch-ups and their prices are reserved for existing clients and subject to the touch-up schedule and price structure as noted in the services page.

Refresher Appointment (Annual Refresh or Touch up)

Any appointment made after 3 months time period after the initial treatment is payable as a refresher. If you need a third session you will be charged as for a refresher; please refer to the price list. Refresher includes one appointment only.

Corrections

Prices on services performed by another technician will be given at consultation after assessment of existing shape and colour. There is no guarantee that correctional work performed by other technicians will be service or only require one treatment.

Maintenance

Permanent make-up fades over time. You should expect to come back for a maintenance refresher visit approximately every 12 – 18 months for eyebrows. Some factors will cause fading of your permanent make-up more quickly. These factors include:

  • Sunbathing or Sunbeds

  • Using Retin A cosmetics or containing AHA’s, Glycolic or Vitamin A

  • Excessively oily skin

  • Microdermabrasion, chemical peels or any exfoliating treatmentsavailable on our website and the instructions provided to you by your technician.

Health and Safety

Your health is important to us, therefore we ask you to fill out a medical questionnaire (included in the waiver attached to your booking confirmation or available through the file menu of this website) prior to your first visit to ensure treatments are delivered safely. Please inform us if there are changes in your health conditions. We keep all your data safe and strictly confidential. It is necessary for you to complete and sign the waiver BEFORE proceeding with any service. Failure to do so will result in your forfeiting any right to complaint or remedy. The waiver serves as an important checkpoint that qualifies you for lashes, permanent makeup, microblading or microneedling ("CIT"), or facials.

When booking, please notify us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or of any serious health concerns (please refer to the list on the bottom of the paragraph) that could affect treatment, so we can advise on the best and safest experience for you. Pregnancy, breastfeeding and serious illness are contraindications from all permanent makeup treatments. We may refuse requests for permanent make-up which we consider to be inappropriate or if there may be a risk that violates health and safety best practices or standards.

It is your responsibility to ensure you are a suitable candidate for lashes, skincare treatments, cosmetic tattoo or permanent make-up before booking and securing an appointment for a treatment. We reserve the right to withhold any deposits paid in the event we are unable to perform a treatment.

Candidates seeking permanent make-up treatments who may be contraindicated (those that cannot be treated) are:

• Under the age of 18 years

• Pregnant and breastfeeding women

• With skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and undiagnosed rashes or blisters on the area to be treated

• With blood conditions such as HIV and Hepatitis

• Haemophiliac

• Have healing disorders or uncontrolled high blood pressure
 

Extra caution needs to be taken when you have:

  • AHA’s (lactic, glycolic acids, retinoids) cosmetics used can fade and discolour your permanent make-up

  • Cancer/chemotherapy: doctors approval may be necessary

  • Laser eye surgery/eyelid surgery: please wait 6 months for eyeliner treatment.

  • Botox and fillers: it is advised to have semi-permanent make-up first and then you will need to wait 4 weeks for fillers/Botox

  • Eyelash Extensions; they should be removed before eyeliner appointment

  • Lip Cold Sores: clients with a history of cold sores need to use an anti-viral medication (Zovirax, valtrex, acyclovir) 5 days prior and 5 days post lip procedure to minimise the risk of an outbreak; treatment cannot be performed if there is an active outbreak

 

Rescheduling

We understand that you may need to reschedule your appointment booked so on reasonable notice; not less than 48 hours from the date of your treatment. You can rebook your appointment, without any charge, but remembering the period of time between the re-booked PMU treatment and/or follow up treatment should not exceed 90 days. We may refuse more than two re-booking requests from you without refunding you your deposit.

Cancellation

You accept that any no-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours for aesthetics and less than 48 hours for skincare or permanent makeup) for your treatment creates a financial loss for us, and an inconvenience for our other clients by creating scheduling delays, so accordingly you would lose your deposit and be charged up to 100% of the cost of service.

For clients who arrive later than 15 minutes for their scheduled appointment we reserve the right to cancel the service and charge up to 50% of the cost of service to your credit card on file. Your late arrival delays those clients that come after you in the day.

Clients with 3 no-show appointments will be required to prepay deposit for all future bookings.

Environment and Client Conduct

As the salon is a place of relaxation we kindly ask you to refrain from using your mobile phone and to keep on silent during your time with us and you respect the calm environment. The use of profanity, aggressive and rude behaviour will not be tolerated. 

Appointment

Please arrive within 10 minutes of your appointment start time. Late arrivals may mean we need to reduce treatment time or cancel the treatment, with deposit price or cancellation charge being incurred.

Multiple Bookings / Booking With Friends

When making an appointment with a friend, colleague or family member we cannot always guarantee that you will be able to sit with each other, or that your service will start and end in the same time frame.  This is outside of our control though we will do our very best. Please do let us know at the time of booking if you are reserving for a party of 2 or more.

Photo Documentation

Pictures and sometimes videos are taken before and after the procedure for reference purposes and my own records. They may be used for advertising and marketing purposes on social media sites and on my webpages but also for future teaching materials and other lawful purposes. You may opt out of photos in the waiver.

Payments

We accept most major credit cards, Interac Money Transfer and Paypal. Payment is accepted by debit, credit cards or cash only, as cheques are not accepted.  The prices listed for all services or products exclude HST and are subject to change at any time and without notice.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates for all treatments are available. Please see the file menu of this website for additional information and ordering.

Refund Policy

Services and products are non-refundable and may not be exchanged.

Promotion Policy:
In order to take advantage of a promotion you must have a screenshot of the deal or a copy of the relevant e-mail or flyer and present it on check-out/payment.

Reviews

You agree that by scheduling any service with Ivonne Sanchez Beauty that you will take all reasonable efforts to settle any service or product issues offline.  You agree to refrain from posting your review of Ivonne Sanchez Beauty until after you have had an opportunity to resolve any outstanding questions, concerns, product or application performance. You also agree to only post a review after having completed your full service to ensure authenticity.

Memberships

You agree that by signing up for a membership either in-store or through our online booking system that you will have first read and agreed to any related agreements found under the "Waiver" section of our website.

Rewards Program

You agree that by scheduling any service or purchasing any product that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the reward program.
